“The Class of ’63 Fall Celebration”
Our Classmate Rick Conn has recently moved back to the USA from the Philippians
and is now living with his wife in Parker, PA (actually Foxburg, PA). In
celebration of his return, Rick will be hosting a Fall Celebration at his home
for the class of ‘63.
Our “Fall Celebration” will be held on Saturday, September 24th, 2011 at Rick’s
place, beginning at 12:00 noon.
Rick’s place is located at 286 Metz Road, Parker, PA.
Directions:
- From I-80 east bound, you would get off at exit 45, St. Petersburg, Foxburg.
Go in the direction of St. Petersburg by turning right.
- Go about 1 mile and make another right turn at Metz Road, right before the old
Foxburg Golf course and across the street from the High School.
- Go up the steep hill on Metz Road. He is the stone house on top of the hill on
the right.
The party will start at noon and go until ????? We will eat at 1:00PM. While we
will be eating at 1:00PM sharp, we also plan on grilling hot dogs in the
evening, so no one should go away hungry.
Please note: If some of you can come early at 11:00 Carol would be extremely
grateful. The more that can help set up for the party, the easier it is on
everyone. Please let Carol know if you can help.
Anyone living near town, please bring chairs for yourself and extra ones for
those visiting from out of town if you can. Also, If you can bring a folding
table, please let Carol know.
Rick will be BBQing chicken on the grill. Paper plates, cups, silverware,
napkins, coffee, as will some appetizers will be provided, also the pop and
water will be provided as well.
Carol asks that you RSVP as soon as possible and would appreciate it, for those
who can, volunteer to bring an appetizer, a main course or dessert. Some
examples of what are needed are: potato salad, macaroni salad, baked beans, a
veggie tray, or a fruit tray. So we don’t have too many duplicates, it would be
helpful if you could let Carol know (via email) what you would like to bring
when you RSVP. We always have plenty of desserts, so if you would like to bring
a desert, please check with Carol first. If you don’t live locally or are unable
to bring a dish, you may send a donation to Carol Krawiec at 322 Park Ave., Oil
City.
